A request for charitable help from a very dear friend opened a whole new avenue for design — Swarovski crystal jewelry and apparel.

Jenny Page, owner of Beads for Needs, specializes in designing and making custom jewelry using Swarovski crystals, semi-precious gemstones, pearls, 14K gold and Sterling Silver and Swarovski embellished apparel.

“The jewelry and apparel I make is comprised of the best quality elements. I am a direct client of the Swarovski factory in Austria, so, all of our crystals are in perfect condition. And we are also on the forefront of the new product launches from Swarovski. So, we always have the hottest, most exciting jewels that really make my unique designs sparkle.

Swarovski is the luxury brand name for the range of precision-cut crystal glass products produced by Swarovski AG of Feldmeilen, near Zürich, Switzerland. Swarovski crystals maximize refraction. In order to create a crystal that allows light to refract in a rainbow spectrum, Swarovski coats some of its crystals with special metallic chemical coatings. Aurora Borealis is one of the most popular coatings, and gives the surface a rainbow oil slick appearance. When Swarovski was created, the magic word was crystal. A raw material, which even the most ancient cultures ascribed beneficial, valuable, indeed miraculous properties. This fascinating material transformed the world of fashion and beauty into a seductively sparkling universe. It inspired the human race and enriched both art and culture. Today crystals have become part of the connection between people.

My jewelry and apparel, created with Swarovski Crystals, is striking and will make you stand out in the crowd. A brilliant design choice.

I have found a niche in designing and making jewelry. For years I have worked from home while raising our children and volunteering in the community. A request for charitable help from a very dear friend opened a whole new avenue for design — jewelry. As a woman with a loving and supportive husband and two healthy wonderful children, I feel blessed to have all of the good things I have in my life. There are so many others who are not this lucky. This is where BFN comes in. I have found that I can reach out to more people through BFN than I have ever been able to touch personally. Just last weekend, at the Westfield Relay for life, I had cancer survivors flocking to my table to share their experiences with me. The money we were able to raise through selling jewelry that day benefited so many more people than I could have ever helped on a personal level.

We have customers that utilize BFN as their own personal custom jeweler. We take orders over the phone, at festivals, via the Internet and in person at the studio in my home. We have been commissioned by The Amaya Hess Foundation, The American Cancer Society, Paracletian, a Junior League beneficiary, and many Relay for Life events in Indiana and Kentucky. We have also been asked to help with fundraisers for schools and hospitals.

Beads for Needs creates awareness pieces or customized pieces for special events. Or sometimes we’ll just sell our unique designs at an event and then donate a portion of the proceeds to benefit that charity. We specialize in providing exquisite jewelry pieces to charities in need of donation items. These charities are then able to raise funds without any outlay of expense. These “needs for beads” fulfill my need to give back and do the right thing!

Whether it be Mother’s bracelets, sorority bracelets, hope and awareness bracelets, bridal jewelry, Grandmother bracelets, little girl/baby bracelets, dog/cat/pet bracelets, holiday bracelets, memorial bracelets, sports jewelry, I have something for everyone.

We love meeting customers at private shows, then creating the pieces they have ordered for themselves or to give as a gift. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to meet everyone in person. It has been fun making contact via e-mail as friends of customers have also placed orders. We will continue to give each order personal attention!

Sometimes new designs are developed from feedback at shows or suggestions we receive. This makes the creative process such fun because of the different viewpoints that come together in one piece.

To protect the components of the jewelry, please do not use chemicals to clean the pieces or expose them to household cleansers. Wearing the jewelry will maintain its lustre naturally. However, you may wipe the silver with a silver cleaning cloth if you wish. Enjoy!

Thank you for your interest in our jewelry and we look forward to hearing from you.

All styles can be made in any color, bracelet, necklace or earrings.
